Project Dollhouse was an open source reimplementation of the engine used in The Sims Online. The project had a working SimAntics VM, lot renderer, HIT sound system and UI Engine. The simulator featured basic online capabilities.

History[edit]

Project Dollhouse was started under the name TSOR-forked on September 18, 2011. It was renamed to Project Dollhouse some time between November and December of 2011.

On June 18, 2012, the repository was changed from SVN to Git and was moved to Github.

On June 28th, 2015, 23:00 BST the first public Play-Test was hosted to show off the new online functions added to the client just a day prior.
